Machine-translation post-editing (MTPE) refers to the operation by which a linguist edits a translation that has been previously translated by a machine/a computer. Some clients need light post-editing which will enable them to get an idea of the content in general without going into specific details while others require heavy post-editing which should render the machine-translated text similar to one done by a human being.
